About
A simple single-page tic-tac-toe game built with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and no frameworks or build tools. Two players take turns placing X or O on a 3x3 grid, trying to line up three in a row; if the board fills with no winner it is a draw. It includes a title screen with Start Game, Leaderboard, Options, and About, a responsive layout, a local-storage persistent leaderboard tracking X wins, O wins, and draws, win-line highlighting, hover move preview, a game-over overlay, confetti on a win, sound effects, and an options menu for piece themes (Classic, Cats & Dogs, Stars & Moon), symbol colors, and a sound toggle. The game is a static site and can be opened directly or served with the included run.sh, which starts a Python HTTP server on port 8080. The project was built in a single OpenCode coding session using DeepSeek V4 Flash.
