About
A modern, zero-dependency, client-side implementation of English Draughts (Checkers) featuring on-device WebLLM AI (Llama 3.2, SmolLM2) running in the browser via WebGPU, persona banter streaming, an AI vs AI Spectator Arena, offline Minimax AI, and a full rules engine. It offers four modes: Player vs Minimax, Player vs LLM AI, AI vs AI Arena, and local Pass & Play. The dual-session LLM architecture separates tactical move selection from personality banter, backed by a robust JSON move parser with corrective retries and heuristic fallbacks. It enforces strict English Draughts rules (mandatory captures, multi-jump locks, immediate crowning, 40-move draw) and includes a built-in prompt/engine debugger plus a preload hardware staging screen. A Godot 4 3D Web edition is also hosted under /godot/.
Summary
A zero-dependency, client-side Checkers (English Draughts) game with on-device WebLLM AI opponents, an alpha-beta Minimax engine, AI vs AI spectator arena, and pass-and-play.
