About
Age of Mycology (AoM) is a game whose playable browser demo is served from GitHub Pages. This repository holds the game's runtime build inputs: the game package (AoM/, Python source plus compiled runtime assets under AoM/assets/), the pinned pygbag build configuration, and a small atlas build helper (tools/pack_web_atlas.py). The GitHub Action pages.yml builds the bundle server-side with a pinned toolchain (pygbag==0.9.3, Python 3.14) and deploys the generated web/ output to GitHub Pages. Before building, the workflow applies a locked web-10fps asset profile that repacks per-frame sprite directories into lossless grid atlases, shrinking aom.tar.gz from ~143 MB to ~63 MB, with a size gate that fails the deploy if the profile was not applied. The large aom.tar.gz bundle is produced in CI and deployed as a Pages artifact and is never committed to git. Raw/authoring assets, Blender/GLB source, render tooling, and tests live in a private aom-internal repository.
